Staining quality Butcher Block can be fun. Birch wood took the Dark Walnut stain to give a rustic look. I prefer 2 coats of rub on polyurethane and 2 coats of Satin finish brush on polyurethane
Chalk Paint is an excellent and inexpensive way to refurbish out-dated pieces of furniture
